Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect
the rights of all who are helpless. (Proverbs 31:8)
January 21st we celebrate Martin Luther King Day (In USA). My husband Larry and I have had the privilege of visiting with Dr. Alveda King at her home in Atlanta, Georgia where these photos were taken.
Dr. Alveda King is the daughter of the late slain civil rights activist Rev. A. D. King and his wife Naomi Barber King. Her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., led the Civil Rights Movement which inspired Alveda to found King for America, Inc. Its mission is "to assist people in enriching their lives spiritually, personally, mentally and economically."
Alveda has continued her long-term work as a civil rights activist, speaking out on issues that face today’s society. Perhaps the most compelling issue of all; is the life of the unborn. As a proud mother of six children and a doting grandmother, Alveda testifies to the world that abortion hurts women.

Alveda and I want to be a light to the nations as we share our own personal stories bringing hope to many others. My husband Larry and I have twelve babies in heaven and two adopted children on earth. This loss not only strengthened us in our faith but encouraged us to help be a voice for the unborn, telling the world that abortion is wrong and that "adoption is the only option". This led to our most recent project a music video entitled “Bring That Child To Me”plus an interview of Larry and myself sharing our personal story. This music video has been awarded “International Music DVD of the Year”in 2006 by the U.C.M.A.A (United Catholic Music Association); but more importantly has been used as a resource tool in preganancy centres to help save the life of the unborn. As of today, it has saved the life of five babies that we are aware of.

Will you help us take a stand for life?
Alveda and I continue to pray for each others’ ministries. As international conference speakers, we have committed ourselves
to be a voice for God , a voice for hurting women, a voice for the unborn and all those who cannot speak for themselves. Will you join us in taking a Stand For Life?
